OLSON ASSUMES LEADERSHIP ROLE ON ENERGY & COMMERCE COMMITTEE
Washington, DC â€“ Congressman Pete Olson (R-TX) today announced that he has been selected by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) to serve as the Vice Chairman of the Energy and Power Subcommittee under Chairman Ed Whitfield (R-KY).
â€œServing on the Energy and Power Subcommittee has been critical to representing Houston, the energy capital of the world and its supporting industries," Rep. Olson said. "I'm humbled to add my voice to the strong leadership of Chairman Whitfield as we work to grow America's energy economy. I thank Chairman Upton for his support as we tackle energy issues in the new congressional term."
